I'm looking to join a weekend sailing adventure in Zanzibar and tick the Indian Ocean off my bucket list! My goal is to sail on seven different seas in my lifetime, and now it’s time to conquer the Indian Ocean. I’m passionate about sailing, diving, and marine conservation, with six seasons of sailing experience under my belt and roughly 2,000 nautical miles, mainly on the Baltic Sea. My love for the ocean extends beyond the surface, and I’m heading to Zanzibar to work in marine conservation for the next three months. I’m comfortable with the basics of sailing and can manage independently in good conditions. I have a solid overall understanding of sailing and am eager to keep learning and refining my skills, especially in navigation. I’m also a team player who follows instructions well in more challenging situations. Two summers ago, I had the incredible opportunity to sail a boat from France to Helsinki, which only fueled my love for sailing even more. Now, as I prepare for my conservation work in Zanzibar, I would love to find a skipper and boat willing to invite me along for weekend trips on the Indian Ocean.
